Job description

Position Summary

Production Supervisor for the 2nd Shift (Monday – Friday, 2:30 pm – 11:30 pm) at Parker Aerospace’s Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division. The role oversees manufacturing operations, maintains safety and quality standards, drives continuous improvement, and coordinates with engineering on new product launches.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct work activity of team members on the designated shift, distributing workload and motivating the team.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities, eliminate waste, and champion Lean Kaizen events.
  • Ensure quality standards are met, contain quality issues, and communicate with customers for effective relationships.
  • Perform capacity analysis using build plans and determine staffing requirements for the assigned production area.
  • Develop and deploy standardized work instructions, ensuring process stability.
  • Promote and enforce compliance of safety policies, conduct safety investigations and audits, and address safety non‑compliance.
Qualifications
  • B.A. / B.S. degree in a related technical or business discipline and 4+ years of directly related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in this role, achieving desired results.
  • Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality or operations support, and applicable information systems (e.g., MRP, WebFocus).
  • Understanding of business and government regulations such as manufacturing specifications, FAA, and safety standards.
  • Teamwork and team‑building skills; able to assess and develop individual and team capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to motivate teams toward new goals.
  • Experience with data reporting tools such as WebFocus; familiarity with MS Power Apps, Forms, and Power Automate.
