This position is responsible for ensuring all procedures are followed to achieve the highest productivity levels in a cost-efficient manner while maintaining customer specifications. The supervisor must meet all reporting requirements for their area and be willing to work any shift.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Train employees and foster an environment that maximizes quality and productivity.
• Plan and schedule manpower, materials, products, and machines to optimize safety, quality, and employee satisfaction.
• Manage employee performance with positive and corrective feedback.
• Promote communication and involvement within the department.
• Collaborate with other departments on quality improvement, cost reduction, and equipment maintenance.
• Promote safety in the work area.

Basic Skills & Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Experience in the poultry or food industry is a plus.
• Leadership experience with 20 or more employees.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work assigned hours, including occasional weekends.

Educational Requirements

High School Diploma/GED required; college degree in a related field preferred.
