• Mechanical or rework experience required.
• Perform detailed dimensional inspections using precision tools such as calipers, pin gauges, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Flexible to work varying hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.

• Supervise and coordinate daily quality assurance and containment operations and team members
• Support mechanical rework operations and ensure adherence to specifications
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Analyze quality data and prepare detailed reports for management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, supervisors, and inspectors to resolve quality issues promptly and maintain workflow
• Lead audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively
• Ensure project documentation, reports, and quality records are accurate and timely
• Assist with site launch activities, including setup, training, and process validation
• Train, mentor, and develop quality assurance staff to achieve departmental goals

Position: Production Supervisor

Location: Site A - Austin, TX

Salary: $23 - $25/hr

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and manage quality assurance and containment activities at our Tesla Austin, TX facility, ensuring products and processes meet established standards and client expectations. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, experience in rework or containment, and a hands‑on approach to project coordination. The ideal candidate will foster a culture of continuous improvement and uphold compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

This role may require travel.

Education

• Certifications such as Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, or equivalent are a plus

Shift

• Full-time positions available
• 12-hour shifts: 5am-5pm / 5pm-5am
• Overtime may be required based on production needs
