Position Summary: This position is responsible for hiring, leading, and supporting employees in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of manufacturing operations and equipment is necessary. The role includes ensuring employee safety, quality, and productivity of assigned operations. It is a working on-the-floor position requiring daily mobility and collaboration with production staff. The main goal is to meet production needs according to Cellofoam standards and record keeping as required.

Requirements

Essential Position Requirements (include but are not limited to):

• SAFETY FIRST – Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety standards and practices.
• Direct employees, assign job duties, ensure KPIs are met, support quality standards, and complete daily reports.
• Understand manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety, and procedures.
• Supervise equipment setup, operate and shut down machinery as needed.
• Verify order information, produce parts within quality and productivity standards.
• Monitor machine start-up and operation, record data.
• Maintain an organized work area.
• Coach, develop, counsel, and discipline employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
• Maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
• Use appropriate judgment in communication regarding plant or employee concerns.
• Comply with corporate standards and legal requirements.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Associate Degree or equivalent leadership/ manufacturing experience
