Job summary

TVH Group is seeking a Warehouse Production Supervisor for 1st shift in Olathe, KS. Lead inbound/outbound operations, supervise staff, and drive process improvements to meet distribution goals.

You will oversee picking, checking, and shipping to standards, ensure productivity and quality, and manage procedures and staffing. The role requires 2+ years in distribution and in supervising, coaching, and training teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in distribution in a similar supervisory role.
• 2+ years supervising, coaching, mentoring, and training staff.
• Experience identifying, developing, and reporting operations metrics.
• AA degree or equivalent or two years’ related experience.

Warehouse Production Supervisor (1st shift 8:00A-5:00P)Full-time | Logistics | Location – Olathe, KS, 66022

Provides direction, leadership, and management for Olathe Distribution center, including creation and execution of operational processes to meet business objectives and goals. Serves as the department head for Inbound Operations, collaborating with leaders across the organization to meet distribution and customer expectations.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You’ll deliver short and long-term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:

• Ensure that product is picked, checked, and shipped according to established standards and in accordance with current procedures
• Ensure productivity and quality standards at met
• Determines work procedures, prepares and expedites workflow, assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures
• Ensures crew members have the appropriate equipment and tools necessary to perform their jobs

HOW TO SUCCEED

We're looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us, you need:

• A minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution, performing a substantially similar role
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience in supervising, selecting, coaching, mentoring, and training staff
• Experience and/or training in identifying, developing, and reporting operations/distribution-related metrics
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school OR a minimum of two years’ work experience performing a substantially similar role

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

You must be able to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation. This role requires frequent standing and walking, repetitive motion, and use of hands and arms for reaching, grasping, lifting, pushing, and pulling from floor to overhead. Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching are required; occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing may occur. You must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds regularly, up to 40 pounds frequently, and over 50 pounds occasionally. Team lifting or material handling equipment is required for items over 50 pounds.
