Job summary

TVH Parts Co is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift (1:00pm-9:30pm) at our Olathe, KS facility. You will provide direction and leadership for Inbound Operations, and work with cross-functional leaders to meet distribution and customer expectations.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in distribution and at least 2 years supervising staff, with an AA or equivalent experience. You will mentor, train, and develop the team and drive operational excellence daily.

• Minimum 2 years in distribution or similar role.
• Minimum 2 years of supervising, selecting, coaching, mentoring, and training staff.
• AA degree or two years’ equivalent in related field or experience in a similar role.

Serves as the department head for Inbound Operations, collaborating with leaders across the organization to meet distribution and customer expectations.YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESYou’ll deliver short and long-term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:Ensure that product is picked, checked, and shipped according to established standards and in accordance with current proceduresEnsure productivity and quality standards at metDetermines work procedures, prepares and expedites workflow, assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and proceduresEnsures crew members have the appropriate equipment and tools necessary to perform their jobsHOW TO SUCCEEDWe’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. This role requires frequent standing and walking, repetitive motion, and use of hands and arms for reaching, grasping, lifting, pushing, and pulling from floor to overhead. Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching are required; occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing may occur.You must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds regularly, up to 40 pounds frequently, and over 50 pounds occasionally.
