Job summary

TVH Parts Co is seeking a Warehouse Production Supervisor for 1st shift (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) in Olathe, KS. You will lead the distribution center, oversee inbound operations, and drive efficient picking, checking, and shipping processes to meet performance targets.

Responsibilities include enforcing standards, coordinating workflow, training staff, and ensuring the team has the proper equipment. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in distribution in a similar role.
• 2+ years in supervising, coaching, mentoring, and training staff.
• AA degree or two-year college/technical school or equivalent experience.

• Ensure product is picked, checked, and shipped according to standards and procedures.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Determine work procedures, expedite workflow, assign duties, and check for conformance.

Serves as the department head for Inbound Operations, collaborating with leaders across the organization to meet distribution and customer expectations.YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESYou’ll deliver short and long-term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:Ensure that product is picked, checked, and shipped according to established standards and in accordance with current proceduresEnsure productivity and quality standards at metDetermines work procedures, prepares and expedites workflow, assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and proceduresEnsures crew members have the appropriate equipment and tools necessary to perform their jobsHOW TO SUCCEEDWe’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us, you need:A minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution, performing a substantially similar roleA minimum of 2 years of work experience in supervising, selecting, coaching, mentoring, and training staffExperience and/or training in identifying, developing, and reporting operations/distribution-related metricsAssociate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent form two-year college or technical school OR a minimum of two years’ work experience performing a substantially similar rolePHYSICAL DEMANDSYou must be able to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation. This role requires frequent standing and walking, repetitive motion, and use of hands and arms for reaching, grasping, lifting, pushing, and pulling from floor to overhead. Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching are required; occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing may occur.You must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds regularly, up to 40 pounds frequently, and over 50 pounds occasionally.
