Job summary

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing manufacturing organization in Wilson, NC who is hiring a Production Supervisor to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity with excellent benefits.

The selected candidate will train on 1st shift before transitioning to the permanent night shift schedule. The role leads a night-shift production team of about 15, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production setting.
• Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, make decisions, and handle challenges professionally.
• Comfortable working on the production floor around machinery and equipment.
• Basic computer skills required; experience with production systems is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and equipment knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily night-shift production operations while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are achieved.
• Build and support a new production team of approximately 15 employees.
• Monitor production schedules, employee performance, and overall workflow.
• Provide coaching, training, and guidance to team members.
• Address employee concerns, performance issues, and operational challenges.
• Partner with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate updates with leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and processes.
