Job summary

Shift Supervisor position within a production environment is available, focusing on supervising operators and packing staff to meet quality and safety standards. You will oversee daily operations, ensure equipment is correctly set up, and maintain production records while enforcing health and safety and PPE practices.

Applicants should be prepared to work Monday to Thursday, 2-12pm, with breaks including a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Additional duties may be assigned as required by the line manager.

Job description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise production operators and packers: paying attention to the following:

• Every process is carried out in accordance with company policy and procedures.
• Every process is carried in accordance with the health and safety regulations.
• The correct PPE is always worn, and the food safety and hygiene regulations are applied.
• Ensure all machines are correctly set up and batch codes are checked.
• Complete and maintain production and cleaning records.
• Ensure the products meet the required specification.
• Complete quality control checks
• All packaging has the correct identification labels attached,

Key holders are responsible for opening and closing the premises: (making sure everything is switch off, the alarm is set, and passwords are not disclosed.

Additional notes

You will be required to fulfil other duties and roles during your working hours.

You are required to always wear the correct uniform & PPE.
