Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a production supervisor to lead a 24/7 cement manufacturing facility. You will supervise production teams, drive safety, quality, and efficiency goals, and coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure reliable operations.

You’ll train staff, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and manage rotating schedules while maintaining OSHA/MSHA safety standards and a strong safety culture across the site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a heavy industrial or heavy manufacturing environment.
• Experience in cement, aggregates, mining, or similar industrial operations preferred.
• Strong understanding of OSHA, MSHA, or comparable industrial safety standards and best practices.

Position Overview

Lead and coordinate production activities in a 24/7 cement manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations while supervising production teams, driving workforce performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

Conditions of Employment

• Ability to obtain and maintain required ATF licensing for handling detonators used in plant operations.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Successful completion of all required pre-employment screenings.

Work Environment

• Work in a 24/7 cement manufacturing facility.
• Exposure to dust, noise, heavy equipment, and varying weather conditions.
• Frequent walking, climbing, and work around industrial processes.
• Support rotating production crews in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely perform physical job requirements.
