Job summary

Precinmac is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Shields Manufacturing facility in Tualatin, Oregon. This on-site role reports to the Manufacturing Manager and requires supervision of Makino and UMC workflows on a Day Shift (M–F, 7:00 am–3:30 pm).

You will lead a team to achieve maximum output with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency while coordinating with engineering and quoting to communicate capabilities and timelines.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing setting with direct reports.
• Strong knowledge of CNC operations and machine maintenance.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and shop floor controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and feedback to the production team to maximize output and efficiency.
• Supervise production of Makino and UMCs to meet schedules.
• Ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery across shifts.

Production Supervisor Job Summary

• Provide direction, guidance, and feedback to department personnel to achieve maximum output and efficiency.
• Currently Hiring for a Day Shift (M-F 7:00 am - 3:30pm)

Equipment Maintenance

• Troubleshoot machine issues.
• Ensure machine maintenance including regular service, and schedule for machine repairs.
• Order replacement parts as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Assign work to employees and work centers.
• Supervise production of Makino and UMCs.
• Maintain continuity among work shifts and departments by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Review schedule progress daily to ensure due dates are met.
• Manage department employee performance through training, regular performance feedback and goal setting and tracking.
• Ensure department compliance with all safety rules, regulations, and requirements.

Machining Processes & Operations

• Provide on-time delivery of completed parts without compromising quality, safety, and equipment life.
• Communicate department capabilities and estimated completion times to Quoting and Engineering.
• Envision mechanical processes, product processes, and operations while completing prototyping and short-run, close tolerance complex parts for industrial robotics, automation, electronics, and wafer processing in a quick turn job shop environment.

Verification Of Product

• Monitor and protects the assets of the company and insure that appropriate tooling and equipment is used for each job.
• Adhere to all quality policies and meets company quality goals of on-time delivery of completed parts without compromising quality, safety or equipment life.
