Job Summary/Purpose
The Production Supervisor, is an onsite role at the Orange County Advanced Power Station in Texas. The position directs and supervises a team of operations and maintenance personnel at the combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant. The primary responsibilities include overseeing plant operations, responding to start-up and dispatch requests, and assigning/directing operations and maintenance work during shifts. The role involves hiring and training a team of high-performing Production Technicians to ensure safe and reliable operations during commissioning and commercial operation. The position is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously evaluating all processes and programs associated with the newly constructed CCGT plant. K ey duties include utilizing lessons learned to refine operating procedures, training plans, unit parameters, alarm management, and maintenance strategies. The position also involves networking with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) partners to meet commissioning and testing schedules, providing technical leadership for troubleshooting, and managing assigned projects.
