Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and coordinates the functions of teams of operators in the manufacture and test of electronic and electro-mechanical products and systems
  • Supervises production employees and work flow
  • Offers direction, review, and discipline to production employees as needed
  • Calculates amounts of stock and supplies required for operations, based on production schedules, and requisitions materials from storage area
  • Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met
  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
  • Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
  • Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of production
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems
  • Maintains time and production records
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manufacturing Manager


The essential functions of this role include:
  • working in a smoke free environment
  • wearing steel toe shoes
  • manual lifting up to 50lbs
  • working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
