Are you an experienced supervisor with the ability to provide hands-on guidance in the manufacturing field? If so, you’re what we need! This position will play a significant role in advancing our business. It offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, gain exposure, and receive recognition. The role involves utilizing the Lean Operating System (4 Tier Lean Shop Floor Plan), working with other shift supervisors and the plant manager to leverage best practices, and improving safety, quality, cost reduction, and productivity.

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Production in the supervised area.
• Monitor production process flow, adjust staffing and product runs as needed to meet labor, COQ, and delivery targets.
• Ensure all floor reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Manage daily production needs, adjust staffing, and hold employees accountable for meeting goals.
• Deliver daily toolbox talks, conduct pre-shift exercises, and mentor employees.
• Conduct safety and SOP trainings, update monthly, perform monthly 6S audits and weekly quality audits.
• Oversee shift clean-up activities, restock for the next shift, coordinate equipment and tools, and communicate effectively with other leads.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in disciplinary actions as needed.
• Complete maintenance work orders for repairs.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills:

• High school diploma required.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to make decisions with limited information.
• Ability to read tape measures to 1/32".
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
