Are you an experienced supervisor with the ability to provide hands-on guidance in the manufacturing field? If so, you’re what we need! This position will play a significant role in our operations, offering an opportunity to make a substantial impact and gain exposure and recognition. It is a great opportunity to make a difference by utilizing the Lean Operating System (4 Tier Lean Shop Floor Plan), working with other shift supervisors and the plant manager to leverage best practices and improve safety, quality, cost reduction, and productivity goals.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Production in the area under supervision.
• Monitor production process flow, adjust staffing and product runs as necessary to meet labor, COQ, and delivery targets.
• Ensure all floor reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Manage daily production needs, adjusting staffing and holding employees accountable for meeting goals.
• Deliver daily toolbox talks, conduct pre-shift exercises, and mentor, coach, and guide employees.
• Conduct safety and SOP trainings, update monthly, and perform monthly 6S audits and weekly quality audits.
• Oversee shift cleanup activities, restock for the next shift, coordinate equipment and tools, communicate effectively with other leads, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in disciplinary actions as needed.
• Complete maintenance work orders for repairs.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills:

• High school diploma required.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar supervisory position.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to make decisions with limited information.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32".
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills.
