Rate: $38/hour

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor will provide leadership and support to the manufacturing teams to create a safe, productive, and profitable environment. This role involves planning and facilitating the work of team members to support on-time completion of production schedules, quality, housekeeping, and safety objectives. The supervisor will develop high-performance work teams through ongoing coaching and direction, fostering a People First Culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

These duties are not exhaustive and other tasks may be assigned:

1. Lead 1-2 small or similar areas/processes within the production facility/line.
2. Lead production team members in union and/or non-union environments, supporting troubleshooting of manufacturing issues.
3. Provide performance feedback and conduct appraisals to guide team development.
4. Enforce quality, safety, and 5S standards; recommend process improvements.
5. Support maintenance, continuous improvement, and value stream projects to meet production demands.
6. Conduct root-cause analyses to identify and resolve manufacturing problems.
7. Report and respond to product and process nonconformance issues.
8. Implement and sustain 5S practices in work areas.
9. Manage changes in machines, processes, and materials; lead process improvement initiatives like Kaizen events.
10. Create value stream maps and standard work procedures.
11. Maintain accurate records and documentation per company policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus three or more years of manufacturing experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to plan and organize projects.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
