Responsibilities:

The production supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the production floor, including supervising, developing, and training the team. Ensuring safety, quality, and timeliness in manufacturing is paramount. This is a salaried position with bonus potential.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily manufacturing operations in a plant or warehouse setting.
2. Enforce safety rules, quality standards, policies, and procedures consistently.
3. Supervise production staff, including recruiting, training, and coaching.
4. Use a customer-driven approach to meet KPI targets and engage the team in continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Promote safety, productivity, waste reduction, and quality enhancements.
6. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, educating associates on equipment use and safety protocols.
7. Coordinate production schedules, monitor progress, resolve issues, and report outcomes.
8. Analyze production data and performance records, providing insights and responses.
9. Develop and update systems and procedures to optimize operations.
10. Manage timekeeping and personnel records using workforce management software.
11. Monitor workflows, implement cost reductions, and develop reporting systems.
12. Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting machine issues.
13. Stay informed through educational workshops and professional publications.
14. Participate in machine operation, including feeding large press machines safely.
15. Operate forklifts in tight spaces, ensuring safety with PIT and pedestrian interactions.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in lean manufacturing methods.
• Experience with Amtech job costing and RPM modules.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the corrugated packaging industry preferred.
• Certified forklift operator.
• Knowledge of production machinery and plant operations.
