About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on individual with a strong planning background and the ability to lead and develop frontline team leads. This role is embedded in the daily operations of our fabrication shop, overseeing critical production activities including sanding, painting, fiberglass fabrication, touch-up, and bundling. The successful candidate will work closely with up to 3-4 team leads and lightly oversee a workforce of 25–30 employees, ensuring throughput, safety, quality, and schedule adherence. This is a floor-focused leadership role with approximately 60-70% of your time spent on daily priorities and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the daily production schedule, dispatch, and MRP planning execution
• Monitor and support KPI performance with a monthly mindset toward continuous improvement
• Ensure a strong focus on safety, quality, and process improvements
• Lead the daily floor priorities and coach leads in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Understand and optimize sanding, painting, and fiberglass processes
• Collaborate with the CI (Continuous Improvement) team on future value stream visibility and planning structure
• Ensure the floor teams are aligned to meet daily and weekly output goals
• Partner cross-functionally to keep all production “buckets” filled and flowing

Qualifications:

• Experience supervising in a manufacturing or fabrication setting
• Strong understanding of production planning, dispatch, and MRP systems
• Familiarity with sanding and painting operations (fiberglass knowledge is a plus)
• Demonstrated ability to lead frontline leaders and drive floor execution
• Comfortable working in a high-activity, hands-on environment
• Proven track record in maintaining safety, quality, and productivity metrics
