Senior Production Manager

Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily production activities across multiple manufacturing lines to achieve goals in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
  • Implement and sustain Kaizen initiatives that reduce waste, enhance processes, and improve efficiency.
  • Conduct regular Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and root cause analyses to eliminate inefficiencies and uphold 5S standards.
  • Partner with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to improve manufacturability, minimize lead times, and optimize resources.
  • Develop, monitor, and analyze KPIs to measure performance, drive accountability, and guide decision-making.
  • Ensure ongoing cross‑training and maintain an up‑to‑date training matrix to support workforce flexibility.
  • Promote a culture of employee engagement, problem‑solving, and continuous learning.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, safety, and environmental standards, along with company and industry regulations.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) by collaborating closely with design and process engineering.
  • Manage production budgets, capacity planning, and workforce allocation to meet customer demand efficiently.
  • Coach and develop production supervisors and team leaders to strengthen leadership and operational discipline.
  • Oversee the creation and auditing of standardized work instructions to ensure consistent process execution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing management, ideally within industrial equipment or automotive environments.
  • Proven record of implementing Kaizen or Continuous Improvement programs with measurable results.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity management, and workflow optimization, including manpower flexibility in line with TPS (Toyota Production System) principles.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team development skills.
  • Analytical, data‑driven mindset with experience using metrics and visual management tools.
  • Proficient in SAP/ERP systems and related manufacturing software.
  • Deep understanding of TPS, Toyota Way principles, and lean manufacturing best practices.
