Job summary

Century Group is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their client’s manufacturing team in the United States. You will supervise daily operations, drive safety and quality, and partner with cross-functional teams to meet production targets.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of supervisory experience in high-volume environments, familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement, and strong leadership and communication skills to develop staff and optimize processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience leading teams in fabrication or production environments.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety and quality standards.
• Experience implementing continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S).

Expected starting base salary of $83,000 to $117,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently achieved.
• Coordinate employee assignments, staffing levels, and workflow priorities to maximize productivity and operational efficiency.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify operational issues, and partner with technical teams to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Collaborate with planning, quality, operations, and human resources teams to support production schedules and workforce development initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on process optimization, quality enhancement, and operational performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of supervisory experience within a high volume manufacturing or production environment.
• Previous experience leading teams in a fabrication, assembly, industrial, or similar production setting.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices, quality standards, and production management principles.
• Prior experience implementing continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or related programs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining production schedules and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing industry experience.
• Knowledge of composite materials, fabrication processes, or advanced manufacturing techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
