Our customer-centric solutions include Fluid Separation for Metalworking and Manufacturing, Industrial Fluid Control, Plant Process Optimization, Corn Oil Extraction, and Oil Flow Optimization.

We are looking for a new Production Supervisor to help our Industrial Division of Trucent in Noblesville IN. The Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations on the shop floor for OEM products. This role is responsible for ensuring production targets, quality standards, safety protocols, and delivery timelines are met. The supervisor acts as a key liaison between production workers, maintenance, quality, engineering, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production operators and technicians
  • Ensure compliance with work orders, build schedules, and assembly instructions
  • Monitor production metrics (output, quality, downtime, scrap) and initiate corrective actions
  • Maintain safe working conditions and enforce OSHA and company safety policies
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen)
  • Conduct start-of-shift meetings and communicate production goals clearly
  • Ensure proper training and onboarding of new team members
  • Troubleshoot equipment, material flow, or labor issues in collaboration with Purchasing and Engineering
  • Review and sign off on production documentation, including travelers, checklists, and quality records
  • Drive accountability for standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
  • Participate in quality audits, root cause investigations, and corrective/preventive actions
  • Monitor inventory usage and coordinate with Materials or Supply Chain for replenishment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S principles

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably OEM
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., assembly, machining, testing)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and production scheduling
  • Working knowledge of safety and quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.)

Preferred

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, or related field
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
  • Previous experience in automotive, aerospace, medical device, or similar OEM industries
