Job summary

RESRG Automotive in Tennessee is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing processes, implement lean tactics, and drive safety, culture and operational effectiveness on the shop floor. You will mentor 25–30 hourly employees, manage performance, and collaborate with other departments to meet quality, cost and schedule targets while maintaining good housekeeping and company policies.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with potential for career development.
• Ability to lead and manage a shift of 25–30 hourly employees.
• Ability to understand and make decisions from real-time production data.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word).

Responsibilities

• Lead, track and improve performance on department goals and objectives.
• Manage performance and corrective action processes for direct reports through coaching and accountability.
• Continuously improve plant performance through process improvements and lean techniques.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production requirements and ensure quality management and change management systems are followed.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive a safety-focused manufacturing environment.
• Address questions, concerns, and problems expressed by the crew.
• Implement, maintain and support company policies, safety programs and housekeeping.
• Escalate issues to appropriate team members when necessary.
• Ensure tools and materials are available for crew to complete tasks.
• Foster a high morale and positive work environment.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
