Today, Rowe Casa Organics produces over 300 products to help people thrive in their health, wellness, and lifestyle. From wellness necessities and household essentials to the finest of self-care, each product that we offer is crafted with the utmost quality, care, and love.

About the Position:

Rowe Casa has experienced significant growth which has caused the need to expand our production team into all shifts, twenty-four hours a day, six days a week. We are looking for a full-time Production Supervisor who will lead one of our growing production teams during the day, evening, or overnight shift. Our production department manufactures over 300 products. The Production Supervisor will help oversee a staff of approximately 15-20 hourly production staff. This position is full-time at our production facility in New Boston, TX and report to the Director of Production.

Key Roles and Responsibilities (not limited to):

Team Leadership:

  • Provide guidance to the production team, including training, cross-training, and retraining production staff.
  • Uphold production expectations and provide regular feedback to team members, including strict accountability and adherence to recipes and processes.
  • Ensure employees follow production procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Assist in fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Report any performance or disciplinary issues promptly to the Director of Production and be prepared to address them with production staff in accordance with company policies.

Production Operations:

  • Help oversee and coordinate production activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules and targets.
  • Monitor production processes and ensure efficient utilization of resources, including raw materials, equipment, and labor.
  • Collaborate with leadership positions and the procurement team to ensure availability of materials and supplies for uninterrupted production.
  • Maintain and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality in production processes.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining equipment performance and communicate maintenance and repairs as required.
  • Work with the Quality and Compliance team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.

Quality Control:

  • Possess a complete understanding and knowledge of each product and the manufacturing process required in order to communicate effectively with production staff.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with Quality and Compliance team to conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues or deviations from standards.
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to develop and update quality control procedures and documentation.
  • Work with the Quality control team to investigate and resolve any quality-related issues or customer complaints in a timely manner.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate production processes and identify to the Director of Production for improvement in terms of efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement strategies to optimize production workflows, reduce waste, and improve overall operational performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to manufacturing and production.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) set in place by the Director of Production related to production, such as production output, efficiency, and quality metrics.
  • Be willing to generate regular reports on production activities, including volume, productivity, and performance metrics as instructed.
  • Analyze data and provide insights to the Director of Production for decision-making and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in production or manufacturing operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with quality control principles and practices, including ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement. Proficient in using production management software and systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide clear instructions.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • A willingness to be flexible and adjust job duties, assignments, and expectations often as this business requires with rapid growth and demand.
