Job summary

Deceuninck North America is seeking a Night Shift Manufacturing Supervisor for the Monroe, Ohio facility to lead extrusion and lamination operations, champion safety and drive team performance.

You will provide direction, mentorship and accountability for quality, delivery and cost; develop employees, participate in continuous improvement, and ensure production schedules are met.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of frontline supervision experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Lean/Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities

• Drive accountability for safety, quality, delivery and cost performance.
• Provide direction, leadership and mentorship to employees on the night shift.
• Assess competency and develop direct reports; participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Establish and adjust work procedures to meet production schedules; lead by example.
• Own safety culture for the team and participate in Safety Committee.

Deceuninck North America is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor for our Night Shift Extrusion and Lamination Departments at the Monroe, Ohio facility.Our supervisors are empowered to provide guidance, support and mentorship to employees with the goal of achieving short and long-term business objectives to ensure growth and maximize performance.Shift: Nights; 12 Hours; 2-2-3 shift patternWhat you will do:Drive accountability for operational, quality, delivery, and cost performance.Provide direction, leadership and mentorship to employees in the management of their assigned areas to ensure that business objectives and satisfactory performance are met.Assesses competency and capabilities of direct reports, ensuring employee development.Identify and participate in continuous improvement activities.Effectively participate in the process of employee selection, hiring and retention.Establish and/or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.Lead by example.Own safety culture for team. Manage safety investigations and related corrective actions. Participates on Safety Committee with meaningful contributions.What you will bring:High School diploma or GED required.Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.Two to four years of frontline supervision experience. Manufacturing Supervisory experience preferred.Experience working with computer systems to enter and track data.Understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma principles.
