Job summary

BIC World is seeking a 2nd shift production supervisor to lead and develop the production team, ensure safety compliance, and achieve daily targets. The role emphasizes standard work, quality management, and cross-functional collaboration to solve issues and drive improvements.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in manufacturing supervision, strong communication, leadership, and a data-driven approach to KPI and problem solving.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in manufacturing supervision, preferably consumer products, with exposure to safety and quality systems.
• Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills ; ability to effectively prepare and deliver reports and presentations.
• Ability to lead and function in a team environment, while effectively communicating across various levels of the organization.
• Proven leadership and people management skills, ability to coach, mentor, and motivate teams.
• Data driven mindset : experience with KPI’s, root cause analysis and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication, organization, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Problem-solving and decision-making, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise 2nd shift production teams to meet daily production plans, quality targets and safety standards.
• Enforce standardized work, including Quality Management System and SOP’s to ensure consistent product quality and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor production performance, throughput, and scrap/percent yield; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to federal and state legal regulations.
• Champion safety by modeling behavior, conducting regular risk assessments, coaching safe work practices and leading incident investigations.
• Communicate effectively with cross functional teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Control expenses by gathering and submitting budget information, monitoring variances, and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain payroll records through ADP for responsible departments.
