We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production staff, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in cGMP and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) is a core requirement for this role.

Duties

• Solves day-to-day production issues and maximizes area-manufacturing output.
• Enables timely preventive maintenance for all critical production equipment.
• Ensures that all production staff meet and maintain qualifications for functional and established cGMP.
• Plans the scheduling of all shifts and overtime requirements within all Production departments to meet production objectives.
• Maintains all required logs and records as specified by internal Standard Operating Procedures.
• Communicates and records all deviations to procedures, processes or products that covered under CFR requirements.
• Ensure that all production planning is sensitive to the projected ship date.
• Communicates to the Production Manager, any foreseen late production batches promptly and accurately.
• Responsible for maintaining cGMP and SOP compliance.
• Responsible for releases in manufacturing, such as for example Cleaning, Process starts, Process re-starts (after Major breakdown or runs stop), Documentation, closing of sections in the Batch Record, etc.
• Annual Performance Review of all employees at assigned shift.
• Have daily Production meeting at shift changes with SMEs (Subject Matter Expert) to review performance and identify required actions needed.
• Maintains accurate and professional relations with the Quality and Regulatory group(s).

Experience

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to fabricate and assemble components using various tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery is a plus.
• Experience working on an assembly line or in a factory setting is highly desirable.
• Three to five years in related field.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of cGMP.
• Excellent knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Best Practice, Right First Time and Manufacturing Excellent approaches
