We are seeking a dynamic Production Supervisor for our Marion, Ohio facility. In this role, you will lead, coach, and develop a team of skilled production associates while ensuring operational excellence in safety, quality, and efficiency.

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Lead and mentor a team of production associates, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
2. Maintain a strong presence on the production floor, utilizing a hands-on approach to communicate and solve problems effectively
3. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a secure working environment
4. Monitor and optimize production schedules to meet quality standards and delivery targets
5. Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology
6. Coach and develop team members through regular performance feedback and training
7. Review and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement
8. Coordinate with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve operational challenges
9. Maintain accurate production records and documentation
10. Drive process improvements through team engagement and innovative problem-solving
11. Ensure product quality through standardized work procedures and quality control measures
12. Support and implement customer-focused processes aligned with organizational goals

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
2. 3-5 years of progressive supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
3. Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology
4. Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in team development and motivation
5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
6. Strong time management and prioritization skills
7. Proficient in production management and quality control processes
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
9. Technical acumen including MS Office Suite
10. Experience with performance management and continuous improvement initiatives
11. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
12. Computer literacy with proficiency in production scheduling software
13. Physical ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
14. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
15. Bilingual ability a plus (Spanish)
16. Experience in glass manufacturing a plus
