Job summary

Taylor Corporation in North Mankato is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a frontline team, manage daily operations, and ensure safety and quality on the production floor. This role requires strong communication, prior supervisory experience, and the ability to balance multiple priorities across shifts.

You will track KPI data, drive continuous improvement, coordinate with prepress and finishing teams, and develop a cohesive team to meet customer quality, quantity, and delivery targets.

Qualifications

• Experience leading front-line teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience with production scheduling or ERP systems preferred.
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement familiarity a plus.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written.

Your Responsibilities:

You Must Have:

• Ability to work as team with employees and peers
• Ability to have difficult conversations with employees and peers
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Prior leadership role or supervisory or management experience
• Background in production and operations
• Computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on the production floor for extended periods

We Would Also Prefer:

• Experience in the printing industry
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
• Experience with scheduling, production planning, or ERP systems
• Mechanical aptitude or troubleshooting experience on equipment

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - 70,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
