Job summary

MCC Label is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the shift, coordinate daily operations, and ensure safety, quality, and sustainability standards are consistently met. You will supervise staff on shift, train associates on procedures, and work with management to achieve production goals while maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant plant environment.

This role requires Lean manufacturing experience and a solid understanding of manufacturing methods.

Qualifications

• Lean manufacturing experience required.
• 2–4 years related experience and/or training.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, methods and practices.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
• Reports all safety concerns or issues to immediate supervisor.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Supervises the departments on specified shift to ensure effective and efficient operations.
• Operation of equipment and availability of necessary resources.
• Oversees and trains associates on all departmental procedures, quality procedures and all related work instructions, safety training and company policies.
• Advise managers on personnel issues.
• Manages time collection functions. This includes processing and/or submitting all forms on a timely basis.
• Ensures compliance with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations (IE: ISO, GMA SAFE, HAACP) as applicable.

The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
