The Judge Group in Lubbock, TX, seeks a Food & Beverage Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the night shift, drive production, quality and safety targets, and maintain GMP/HACCP compliance.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership on the floor, weekend rotation, and development of leads into future supervisors, with strong base pay and room to grow in a stable environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years supervising in food and beverage manufacturing.
• Perishable food production experience preferred.
• Experience on processing or packaging lines.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and SQF or similar.
• Hands-on leadership on the floor.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays on rotation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the night shift to hit production, quality, and safety targets.
• Own floor safety procedures and lead incident follow-up.
• Ensure GMP/HACCP compliance and coordinate with QA on variances.
• Coordinate run changes, sanitation, and changeovers with maintenance and other departments.
• Address crew issues: coaching, attendance, discipline, and performance reviews.
• Train new operators and develop leads into future supervisors.
• Track downtime, yield, and efficiency; drive improvements.
• Deliver a clean handoff to day shift every morning.

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Salary: $75,000-$85,000

What you’ll do

• Run the night shift for your area, leading leads and operators to hit production, quality, and safety targets
• Own safety on the floor: enforce procedures, fix unsafe conditions on the spot, lead incident follow-up
• Keep product compliant with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards; partner with QA when results are off
• Coordinate run changes, sanitation, and changeovers with other departments and maintenance
• Handle crew issues directly: coaching, attendance, discipline, and performance reviews
• Train new operators and develop leads into future supervisors
• Track downtime, yield, and efficiency, then drive fixes instead of just reporting them
• Pass a clean handoff to day shift every morning

What you bring

• 3+ years supervising in food and beverage manufacturing
• Perishable food production experience is ideal
• Processing or packaging line experience
• Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and SQF or similar
• A leader who stays on the floor, not behind a desk
• Open to weekends and holidays that fall on your rotation
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
