Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily poultry production operations on the floor, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while meeting targets. The role requires coordinating team duties, monitoring equipment and workflow, and enforcing health and safety regulations.

Willingness to work 2nd shift is required. Key duties include training, organizing schedules, evaluating performance, promoting open communication, and collaborating with other departments for process

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in related field preferred.
• Experience: 1+ years of supervisory experience leading 20+ employees preferred; poultry/food industry experience a plus.
• Skills: Effective communication, independent decision making, basic computer knowledge, ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Production Supervisor

In this key role, you'll serve as the frontline leader overseeing daily operations within our poultry production facility. You'll ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards for safety, quality assurance, and efficiency. Based primarily on the production floor, you'll coordinate team duties, monitor equipment and workflow, and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations. The role also requires agility to respond to operational issues in real time, helping maintain a productive and well-functioning workplace.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide training and create a positive work environment to help employees reach their highest potential in quality and productivity.
• Organize manpower, materials, equipment, and production schedules to ensure efficient operations.

What You’ll Need

• Skills: Effective communication both orally and in writing, capable of independent decision making, must have basic computer knowledge, ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
