Job description

Leading electrical component manufacturer within the Greater Leeds AL area is in search of a Production Supervisor. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team for a contract-to-hire position. We are seeking candidates with 3+ years of supervisory experience. A minimum of a high school diploma is required, but candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering are highly desirable. Experience in writing and revising procedures, work instructions, forms, and visual aids is required. Candidates must have experience working within an ISO 9001 QMS & SAP.

Position is contract-to-hire, ranging from $32-$35/hr, with the 1st Shift: 5am-1:30pm M-F.

Location: Leeds, Alabama

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $32 - 35 per hour

Work Hours: 8am to 4pm

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production processes and supervise hourly employees
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction
• Lead teams focused on safety, quality, service, and productivity within budgetary guidelines
• Ensure hourly workforce is flexible and properly trained
• Handle interpersonal relationships, disciplinary actions, coordination with other supervisors, work rule enforcement, and labor relations
• Maintain data and reports related to the supervised area using Microsoft Excel and Access
