Job Overview

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading employees to produce maximum quality with minimal scrap, and for administering and enforcing company rules, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor daily production and materials.
2. Maintain employee records for attendance, performance, skill level, and training documentation.
3. Coach, train, motivate, and oversee operators to ensure safe and proper operation of equipment.
4. Ensure operators operate within approved safety and quality standards.
5. Report equipment issues and follow up for maintenance support.
6. Communicate effectively with shift supervisors and other departments.
7. Ensure production reports are complete and accurate, including labor hours.
8. Enforce company rules, policies, and procedures consistently and fairly.
9. Build team cooperation and spirit.
10. Coordinate staffing requirements.
11. Ensure food packaging safety, food defense, and quality standards.
12. Serve as an alternate team member for coverage in absence.
