Position Summary
Since 1972, our Atlanta factory has grown into a state-of-the-art facility producing 460,000 tons annually of dry pet food brands like Alpo, Beneful, Cat Chow, Dog Chow, Friskies, Purina ONE, and Pro Plan. The plant is environmentally conscious, conserving water, investing in renewable energy, and maintaining zero waste for disposal. Located along the southern crescent of Metro Atlanta, the area is a hub for commerce, finance, logistics, entertainment, and health services.

As a Production Supervisor, you’ll coordinate management functions related to production planning, output, equipment maintenance, personnel management, quality, safety, and sanitation. Apply your problem-solving skills to drive Continuous Improvement across the plant and develop your career.

Must be open to working any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd), including overnight, weekends, and holidays.

• Coach and lead hourly employees in processing or packaging.
• Manage processing or packaging schedules to maximize output and minimize costs, actively participating in problem-solving.
• Lead and coach work groups to achieve continuous improvement goals.
• Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams for repairs and modifications.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Provide a safe working environment for associates.
• Coordinate product changeovers with relevant departments.
• Strive to meet daily production demands.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing, military, or related environment.
• 1+ years’ supervisory experience in a similar environment.

Other

• Must be open to working all 3 shifts including overnight, weekends, and holidays.
