Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Plant Supervisor for a leading building materials client in Maryland. The role oversees Ready Mix operations, batching processes, and plant production, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years in ready-mix or concrete production, plus supervisory experience and strong knowledge of OSHA standards. This full-time on-site position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Industrial Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in ready-mix, concrete production, or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience overseeing Ready Mix operations, concrete batching processes, and plant production activities.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a plant or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, workplace safety practices, environmental regulations, and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily Ready Mix plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable production while meeting customer demand and delivery schedules.
  • Supervise concrete production processes, ensuring accurate batching, material handling, mix consistency, and compliance with company quality standards.
  • Monitor production schedules and dispatch coordination to ensure timely delivery of concrete while maximizing plant efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards and company policies.
  • Perform quality control oversight, including monitoring concrete specifications, mix designs, and testing procedures.
