Great Dane in Illinois is seeking a Production Supervisor to direct and manage trailer production activities within the Axle Department, Combo Start Line, and Sidewall Line, ensuring adherence to the production schedule and to engineering drawings in the drawing package.

You will enforce safety rules, lead the activities of the production team to meet quality and safety requirements, and define staffing plans for the week based on production volume to prepare the line for success.

The Position: The Production Supervisor’s primary function is to direct and manage the trailer production activities of their area (i.e., Axle Department, Combo Start Line, Sidewall line). Ensure the area meets the production schedule and that the trailers produced are consistent with the Engineering drawings provided in the drawing package.
