Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor ensures production goals are met for designated van and bus lines while maximizing safety and quality standards. This position models Master’s Motors core values by pursuing excellence, operating with integrity, displaying a positive attitude, and being solution oriented.
Essential Functions:
- Supervises direct reports to ensure product adheres to MSV’s standards of quality, safety, and throughput.
- Coaches company core values and standardized work, verifying lines are operating efficiently with a high commitment to continuous improvement.
- Analyzes the production schedule prior to shift start and adjusts team member assignments to meet production targets.
- Monitors and reviews time and attendance for accuracy.
- Ensures regular and predictable attendance for self and direct reports.
- Administers performance reviews.
- Completes shift reports for production numbers, downtime, attendance, overtime, and quality checks for submission to the Production Manager.
- Conducts walkthroughs throughout the shift to ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping compliance by team members.
- Maintains effective working relationships with team members through open communication, visibility, and involvement to promote a positive working environment that maximizes safety, employee engagement, productivity, and throughput.
- Partners with Human Resources and Production Manager for recruitment, employee relations matters, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and terminations.
- Adheres to the highest standards of company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.

Required Education/Experience/Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Fluency in OSHA regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of production processes and controls.
- Proficiency in analyzing data to make informed decisions.
- Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Preferred Education/Experience/Certifications:
- 2-year college degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business Administration.
- Manufacturing experience within the commercial vehicle/bus industry.
- Working knowledge of MRP/ERP software.
- Lean Six Sigma knowledge, training, or certification: Black or Green Belt.
- 6+ years of experience managing technical personnel.
- Bilingual: English/Spanish.
- Safety and quality experience; Experience in an ISO 9001:2015 environment.
Travel Requirements: Less than 5%.
