Position Snapshot

A Production Supervisor is commonly expected to know how to lead their team in a production atmosphere and safety oriented. To be successful in this role you will:

• Directly supervises employees in the Production Department
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, checking, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; costs; operation methods; maintaining quality standards; maintaining quantity standards; and carrying out established policy
• Additional duties regarding inventory, safety, and quality will be assigned
• The above is a snapshot of the duties, additional duties and standards will be applied
  
  

Requirements and Education:

• Broad technical training (high school plus 1 to 3 years apprenticeship/applied trades training)
• A minimum of 3 years’ previous work-related experience is required. The hired Individual must have above average interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and develop individuals
