Job summary

Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a 1st shift Production Supervisor in our EPS High Point manufacturing plant.

This position is responsible for daily production planning, supervising production personnel, overseeing quality in the department, coordinating daily production schedules, and ensuring timely loading of product with shipping. The successful candidate will lead by example, delegate effectively, train staff, manage equipment operation, and enforce safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Two to four years of supervisory experience are required to perform the job.
• Able to delegate duties and responsibilities effectively.
• Ability to function under pressure is essential.

Responsibilities

• Daily production planning.
• Oversee quality in the department.
• Responsible for training.
• Responsible for completing customer orders efficiently.
• Responsible for proper equipment operation and ensure all Preventive Maintenance Programs are being followed and completed.
• Responsible for safety and that all safety policies are being followed.
• Responsible for implementing all company policies and guidelines.
• Coordinate with shipping and/or production to ensure timely loading of product.

Your responsibilities, as a Production Supervisor, will include:
