Position Summary and Responsibilities

The Production Supervisor leads manufacturing associates in a manufacturing and assembly environment, ensuring production requirements are met efficiently. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to company policies, conducting performance evaluations, coaching employees, and fostering continuous improvement through Operational Excellence and Lean Methodology.

Key Duties
  • Ensure positive employee relations; coach for career development; resolve issues using leadership skills.
  • Balance safety, quality, productivity, cost, and morale; pursue continuous improvement.
  • Manage departmental performance measures and update the Value Stream daily.
  • Develop and train staff to meet performance standards.
  • Maintain compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Direct the work of team members.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in a technical discipline with 3-5 years of experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline.
  • Certification or experience in Lean Practices.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management.
  • Motivated, detail-oriented, service-focused, with a desire for growth.
  • Effective communication and positive attitude.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Mechanical or electrical background; assembly experience.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role requires physical activity including standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. The environment may include exposure to fumes, moving mechanical parts, and loud noise.
