Position Overview
We are hiring a Production Supervisor who will report toOperations Director, QuickSnap. The Production Supervisor, QuickSnap is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production lines and driving the production KPI’s such as capacity, yield, and downtime for the Q plant manufacturing operation producing Fujifilm One Time Use Cameras. The position is in Greenwood, SC and will have 16 direct reports and 20 contractors reporting to it.

Job Description
Responsibilities
Leadership & Employee Relations
- Supervises the production technicians. Responsible for effectively leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing associates.
- Makes the associates’ work schedule based on available manpower due to medical leave, sick time, and vacation. Anticipates adequate staffing and work schedules to assure best possible production coverage.
- Conducts supervisory human resource activities such as: interviewing, employee discipline, performance assessments, salary administration, career development, etc.
- Complete performance evaluations. Composes and delegates measurable goals and objectives to be attained by the team and individuals. Maintains personnel files including time, attendance, paid time off, warnings, etc. as required. Monitors team progress and calculates team and individual associate productivity, creates action plans, and provides feedback. Builds rapport and resolves associate conflicts to advocate effective teams through listening and coaching skills.
- Demonstrates ability to use verbal, written and listening communications skills with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Budget and Expense Management
- Provides input for budget forecasting.
- Orders and maintains expense items for the process areas.
Operations
- Leads associates to achieve company, plant, and team goals and objectives that have significant impact on operations. Monitors factory KPI’s and adjust controllable variables to meet targets.
- Responsible for supporting production after hours. Take phone calls after hours to give the technicians guidance and to determine if maintenance is required to come in. On some occasions, required to come in to lead trouble shooting or problem-solving event.
- Responsible for coordinating maintenance activities and help set repair or preventive maintenance priorities.
- Performs regular safety audits to ensure team is following safety rules and guidelines as well as looking for safety improvements.
- Monitors and reviews quality checks performed by the technicians.
- Demonstrates ability to identify problems and determine their cause and effect. Demonstrates a willingness to assume risk in the exercise of professional judgment.
- Completes daily, weekly, and monthly objectives as determined by senior management.
- Completes weekly reports and attends daily operations meeting to address any production issues.
- Effectively communicates technical information and complex ideas.
- Effectively handles stressful situations (resolving conflict and meeting deadlines)
- Demonstrates professionalism, e.g., cooperation, courtesy, assertiveness, good attendance, non-defensiveness, and accepting of constructive criticism.
Compliance
- Ensure operations is compliant with ISO9001/14001.
- Responsible for Associates’ adherence to all State and Federal Regulations and Company Policies affecting their departments, including Fujifilm’s Employee Code of Conduct Policy and Safety policies.
- Ensure compliances with Fujifilm’s “Green” policy by monitoring and auditing factory’s waste streams and processes.
- Approves revisions to Fujifilm Operating Standards and policies. Schedules and administers problem solving meetings to develop process corrective actions. Advocates on the job training for associates to initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- Responsible for understanding Fujifilm’s management of change system. Represent the department on the approval route. Demonstrates the ability to perform risk assessments and decision making.
Required Skills/Education
- Minimum of an associate’s degree in business management/administration or technical field, or equivalent related experience in a fast paced and highly competitive operational and / or manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing operation, with increasing scope and responsibilities.
- Demonstrates ability to plan, set priorities, organize, and coordinate work with others.
- Effectively works with others within the team to achieve team goals.
- Effectively communicates.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Intermediate skill level preferred.
