TreeHouse Foods is hiring a Production Supervisor for our Green Bay, WI facility. The role oversees daily production operations, leads a team of operators and technicians, and ensures safety, quality, and efficiency on the production floor.

This full-time on-site position emphasizes achieving production targets, maintaining equipment readiness, and adhering to health and safety standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives across departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to production workers, assign day-to-day tasks and ensure targets and schedules are met.
• Coordinate production workflows, monitor lines, and ensure equipment and materials are available.
• Enforce safety protocols and company policies during all production processes.
• Conduct training for new hires and existing staff to maintain skill levels.
• Monitor worker performance and provide constructive feedback with corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure products meet quality standards through inspections and testing; identify and resolve quality issues with QC/engineering.
• Monitor processes to prevent defects and minimize waste.
• Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Keep production area clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regs.
• Conduct safety audits and regular safety meetings to promote a safety culture.
• Maintain records of production data, output, downtime, and maintenance logs.
• Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports on production performance and issues.
• Document safety incidents and follow up with investigations or corrective actions.
• Lead cross-department initiatives for continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Maintain timekeeping for hourly employees and ensure accurate reporting.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Production Supervisor for our Green Bay, WI facility, a leading manufacturer of quality pickles. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the production floor. This role ensures that production processes run efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards. The supervisor leads a team of operators, technicians, and workers, focusing on maximizing productivity, minimizing downtime, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to production workers, including assigning day to day tasks and ensuring production targets and schedules are met.


• Coordinate production workflows, monitor production lines, and ensure equipment and materials are available.


• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies during all production processes.


• Conduct training and development programs for new hires and existing staff to maintain skill levels.


• Monitor and evaluate worker performance and provide constructive feedback, including corrective actions as needed.


• Ensure products meet required quality standards through regular inspections and testing.


• Identify and resolve quality issues, collaborating with quality control and engineering teams as necessary.


• Monitor production processes to prevent defects and minimize waste.


• Oversee routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery to ensure minimal downtime.


• Ensure the production area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.


• Conduct safety audits and hold regular safety meetings to promote a culture of safety on the production floor.


• Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and maintenance logs.


• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, or monthly reports on production performance, including any issues or improvements.


• Document all safety incidents, accidents, and near misses, and follow up with necessary investigations or corrective actions.


• Lead and collaborate with other departments to participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.


• Maintain Dimensions (time keeping) for all hourly employees, and production records and accurately complete all reports as required.


• Ensure compliance with all company and plant policies and procedures, including collective bargaining agreements.

The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $ 76,200.00 - 114,200.00 USD annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith
