Corru-Kraft, a Veritiv company, is seeking a Production Supervisor to supervise, plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor activities in manufacturing processes and co-workers involved in the fabrication and assembly of corrugated cartons and inner packaging.

This position reports to the: Production Manager

Shift: 1st

Job Responsibilities

1. Coordinate manufacturing activities to meet production and quality standards.
2. Recommend improvements in production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
3. Maintain quality, efficiency, and production levels; communicate standards to staff.
4. Train co-workers on machinery and equipment operation.
5. Inspect machinery and report maintenance needs.
6. Manage inventories of supplies.
7. Compile and analyze production data.
8. Inspect work in progress and finished goods.
9. Interpret factory cards and manage workflow.
10. Address errors and complaints, and implement corrective actions.
11. Review reports and resolve operational issues.
12. Communicate shift changes and issues with supervision.
13. Conduct performance evaluations for subordinates.
14. Report issues impacting performance to management.
15. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with proficiency in Math and English.
• 3-5 years supervisory experience in the corrugated industry or equivalent training/education.

Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to interpret safety rules, work procedures, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in writing reports and correspondence.
• Strong knowledge of SAP systems and related tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Bachelor’s degree and SAP experience are desirable.
