Job Overview

Graham Packaging is hiring a Production Supervisor based in Fremont, Ohio, supporting our Night Shift from 7pm to 7am. The role involves supervising hourly employees engaged in manufacturing blow-molded containers, focusing on safety, quality, customer service, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce safety, health, quality, GMP, and company policies.
• Exercise authority and judgment on shift regarding hiring, disciplinary actions, and employee management following established policies.
• Manage shift functions including personnel training, safety, quality, inventory, and housekeeping.
• Resolve production and quality issues, maintaining documentation for compliance and continuous improvement.
• Review and approve employee time records and manage staffing and machine utilization to meet efficiency goals.
• Develop methods to optimize manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
• Assist in reviewing shift operations and inventory management.
• Maintain effective communication and a positive work environment.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or related experience, or equivalent combination.
• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Additional Information

Salary range: $77,800 - $97,300, based on experience and qualifications.
