This role supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating a variety of machines to manufacture parts or products. Monday-Thursday + Overtime

What You Will Do:

1. Monitor production activities to eliminate delays and ensure adherence to production and shipping schedules.
2. Assist in carrying out production objectives at the lowest cost, consistent with the organization's quality requirements.
3. Ensure safety and product quality while improving production procedures.
4. Coordinate workflow with various departments involved.
5. Report damaged and defective equipment to management.
6. Train other employees in day-to-day procedures.
7. Maintain quality/quantity standards regarding output.
8. Analyze work orders to estimate worker hours and create machining schedules that meet both internal and external needs.
9. Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assign duties.
10. Plan flow of materials through the department according to work orders.
11. Interface with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.
12. Inspect and measure parts and products to verify conformance to specifications.
13. Direct workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products that fail to meet standards.
14. Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
15. Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
16. Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.
17. Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.
18. Maintain time and production records.
19. Assist with capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycle times.
20. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• 3+ years of direct supervisory experience.
