Job summary

Dura-Line in Elyria, OH is hiring Production Supervisors to lead day and night shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule. You will supervise daily operations, manage staffing, quality control, and schedule adherence.

Ideal candidates have 3-5+ years in manufacturing with direct reports, experience with scrap reduction, safety, and continuous improvement (5S, Six Sigma). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/SAP is a plus; associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3-5+ years of production experience in manufacturing with direct reports and shop floor accountability.
• Experience with scrap management, safety behaviors, and quality controls increasing site efficiency and employee engagement.
• Strong leadership, adaptability, and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
• Familiar with workforce scheduling, overtime management, and other labor deployment practices.
• Hands-on experience in lean manufacturing (5S, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, Gemba walks, lead standard work) is a plus.
• Results-oriented with excellent communication skills in delivering information clearly.
• Associate degree or higher preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP/SAP experience is a plus.

• Strong leadership skills, adaptability in a dynamic environment, and the ability to establish priorities with a sense of urgency
• Familiar with workforce scheduling, overtime management, and other labor deployment practicesExcellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to handle multiple projects with multiple deadlines, demonstrating an ability to prioritize between what is urgent and what is important
• Hands-on experience working in a lean manufacturing plant (5S, tier meetings, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, Gemba walk, lead standard work) is a plus
• Results-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively deliver information, whether good or bad.
• Associate degree or higher preferred but not required
• Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to complete required daily and monthly reports on attendance, machine efficiency, scrap, process improvement, etc. (ERP/SAP experience is a plus!)

The compensation for this position is typically range from $64,000-$96,000/year.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
