Production Supervisor

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent client in Elberton, GA within the automotive industry, is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team! This company boasts competitive salaries and great benefits.

Production Supervisor Summary:

• Pay: $75K DOE; Additional OT pay available
• Schedule: 2nd shift, 2pm-12am, M-F; weekend availability required

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate injection molding processes, including machine setup and operation
• Provide leadership and communicate effectively to direct team members and ensure adherence to company procedures
• Manage direct and indirect associates, equipment, and materials to optimize quality and productivity at minimal cost
• Ensure products meet process standards, including cycle times, quality, and packaging requirements
• Develop team members and foster a positive culture
• Handle daily shift reporting and documentation
• Control labor efficiency, utilization, and effectiveness
• Maintain and improve 5S standards on the production floor

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of supervisory experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to engage in problem resolution activities
• Ability to train operators in systems and procedures
• Excellent attendance and willingness to work overtime
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to coordinate with management and communicate necessary information
