Position Description:

Maintain a safe & productive workplace while leading a team of approximately 30-40 hourly associates. Troubleshoot daily equipment issues by identifying and resolving process, system, and mechanical failures. Provide clear expectations and hold associates accountable while offering continual feedback. Inspire, direct, and coach associates to achieve work objectives. Develop team members to become self-sufficient in their responsibilities. Lead process improvement activities by coordinating cross-functional teams including production, materials, maintenance, quality, and engineering. Promote, maintain, and develop lean manufacturing practices. Monitor and address output & productivity issues, ensuring production targets, cycle times, and quality standards are met. Demonstrate strong leadership skills to manage and motivate the production team in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Performance, and Continuous Improvement. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with high-performance work teams is preferred. High initiative, assertiveness, ownership, and accountability are essential. Ability to analyze objectives, make sound decisions, adapt to change, and manage resources effectively. Flexibility to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed. Knowledge of lean manufacturing is helpful.

Skills Required:

• Experience with CNC machines is a plus.
• Supervising groups of up to 50 associates.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise hourly associates and allocate resources accordingly.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, setup, and operation of production activities.
• Manage material dispersal and distribution for production.
• Maintain labor and material requirements to meet daily schedules.
• Oversee work of production associates and coordinate with support staff, providing expectations, direction, and training.
• Monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Coordinate maintenance of production equipment.
• Ensure process control and quality standards are met.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of production supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED; college degree is not required.
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus but not required.

Additional Information:

• 1st shift from 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Saturday.
