We are looking looking for experienced Production Supervisors to oversee our production floor operations. You will guarantee that manufacturing remains smooth and efficient by monitoring employees and organization workflows, This role will lead you to an understanding and learning of complex operations in paper converting. Responsibilities

• Ability to communicate and set daily/weekly/monthly objectives to the production teams.
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules for overtime, training, etc.
• Guide, mentor, direct and coach employees.
• Monitor and guide production output according to specifications.
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding and training schedules.
• Ability to perform performance reviews, disciplinary action items, and conduct interviews for open positions.
• Lead, organize and coordinate changeovers to minimize changeover times.
• Work to foster and grow the company culture of teamwork, respect and continual improvement.
• Follows all Safety and Operations Procedures and Quality Programs
• Supports Company's certifications and outside agency requirements as it relates to production including but limited: ISO 9001, HACCP, Food Safety, and Customer System Requirements.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as Production Supervisor required.
• 5-10 Years in Manufacturing required
• Paper or Food industry a plus
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
• Advanced skills in MS Office
• Advanced and experienced people skills a must
• Organizational and leadership abilities
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Degree in a technical, engineering or relevant field a plus
• Ability to organize work schedule to meet the needs of a 24/7 facility
• Ability to physically walk, sit, stand, twist or move over long periods of time
• Must be able to read, write and converse in English
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, twist, climb, bend and lift up to 20 lbs for long periods of time
• Able to work a rotating schedule to include nights, weekends and potential holidays.
