Key responsibilities

• Support the SQF Food Safety and Quality System by implementing procedures, participating in GMP inspections, conducting internal audits, and training.
• Interview, hire, train employees; plan, assign, develop, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve issues.
• Analyze work orders to estimate employee hours and create equipment schedules to meet needs.
• Direct employees in machine and equipment adjustments to meet standards.
• Develop capital equipment justifications for quality, cost, and cycle time improvements.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• A four-year degree in engineering, food technology, or business preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Understanding of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
• Technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMPs, safety, sanitation, and preventative maintenance is preferred.
• Experience with MS Office and SAP is preferred.
• Leadership and team development skills are desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
